  1. Solarization of any of the eligible infrastructure can also be financed under AIF
  2. Digital Connectivity and optic fiber infrastructure shall be eligible investment as part of development of the aforementioned eligible projects.
  3. Standalone secondary processing infrastructures are not eligible
  4. Not eligible for individuals/ farmers
  5. Component-A of PM-KUSUM eligible for Individual farmers/ Group of farmers/ FPOs/ Cooperatives/ Panchayats to set up solar power plants of capacity up to 2 MW on barren/cultivable/uncultivable/pasturelands or marshy lands.

Agricultural Infrastructure Fund

AIF offers a 3% interest subvention with a cap of 9% on ROI for loans up to 2 crores, Additionally, credit guarantee support is provided through the payment of CGTMSE fee.

No, there are no capital or margin subsidies available under this scheme

Interest subvention involves providing borrowers with a 3% reduction on the interest rate imposed by lending institutions

The repayment term for the AIF scheme spans 7 years, with an initial moratorium period of 6 months that can extend up to 2 years

Banks have the authority to determine an interest rate based on market conditions for loan amounts exceeding the subvention scheme limit.

There are no restrictions on minimum or maximum loan caps. Nonetheless, a qualified recipient can receive the advantages of the Agricultural Infrastructure Fund on loans up to 2 crores per project.
